Sports

Sports is an organized physical activity and outdoor games always bring good virtues and benefits to us, especially to youngsters. That is why it is always advisable to encourage children to take part in sports and to be active in the field too. Besides, to discard the pent-up energy and to draw in more motivation, sports provide a way and regular participation in sports play a role in social and psychological upliftment. 

Some of the benefits of sports are as mentioned below: 

1). Builds self esteem and self confidence: 

There are studies suggesting that self confidence gets enhanced as a result of playing sports and so is our self esteem. During the game, when there is a pat on the back, high-five and handshakes with the team members and mutual admiration and encouragement from the coach does help us a lot.

2). Emotional Management:

sports is the game of emotions too and any versatile coach will help youngsters in checking the emotion outburst and to manage negativity and stress. 

3). Discipline:

mental, physical and tactical restraint is called discipline and when we indulge in sports, we get to learn the art of discipline. 

4). Social Skills Get Honed : 

clearly, when children take part in sports and interact with team members and with the coach and sports officials, their confidence and social skills get enhanced tremendously and this helps them in many other fields later in life.

5). Excellent Teamwork: 

There are team sports like cricket, football, hockey, kabaddi etc where all members put best of their efforts and in this way, children learn to work in collaboration with others and this aspect helps in many other ways in life too.

6). Leadership Qualities: 

When we become captain or take up some decisive roles, this opportunity helps them to be an able administrators, manage team efficiently and so forth.
